~How to use a Rice Cooker~

Before We Start

Rice cookers are very versatile tools but this site will be used to explain how to cook the basics with it... RICE. Rice cooker can come in all shapes and sizes but they all incorporate the same mechanics, why use a rice cooker? Well much more efficient than the stove pot method, if rice is eaten on a daily basis like in some culture than rice cookers are a definite life savior, but if your daily diet doesn’t contain rice then maybe not.

measuring cup (not always but sometime)
a rice paddle

2 Types of Common Rice

There are many types of rice out there but we’ll just talk about the 2 of the most common and known types:

Brown rice- very nutritious soft and sticky when cooked
White rice- less nutritious than brown rice but can be stored longer and cooks faster
